TAKAYAMA City
This was constructed in 1907. It used to be a sake brewery, which is why a cedar ball hangs from the eaves of the house. The stairwell, constructed from beams and posts with a main pillar in the center, allows light to filter into the house from the windows, which showcases the wood grains on the pillars and panel doors.
